We receive many questions regarding barefoot running or minimalist running. It's a complicated subject. A great resource regarding the topic can be found here:

Group Runs
We have two group runs on Wednesdays from the store. Both start at 6pm and go rain or shine, warm or cold.
"Sneaky Speed" is a workout that incorporates intervals, springs, hills, and our dreaded sled into an hour long workout. We work on all the things that runners know they need to work on, only in a group setting! Total mileage for a workout is between 4-6 miles. Even though there are a wide range of abilities the workouts can be adjusted so that you can leave with a hard workout but not be fried for the next week!
"Left Right Repeat" is an enthusiastic group led by Debbie. This group takes ladies from wanting to run to running efficiently and without pain. No need to apologize for not being a runner here; Debbie will show you how to put your dreams and aspirations into movement by teaching proper form, how to build up time and miles realistically, and how to enjoy what others call work!
There is no cost to the runs. Come every week or show up at your convience, we are happy to have you!
